Tim Lincecum Signing

Whenever I see a signing like this and attempt to decide whether I should send in an item or not, I always try to think of how long it would take me to get that player's autograph in person.

How many Giants games would I have to go to before I got Lincecum to sign for me? If I was sure I could get him anytime I would probably think it was too much. On the other hand, if I would have to go to 3 or 4 or 5 games to get him I'd probably think $50 wasn't so bad because of how much I would spend on tickets, parking, food at the game, gas, time away from the family, etc.

I remember Lincecum did a signing with them last year for $30 which wasn't too bad.

I'm pretty sure Lincecum's agent has something to do with that. All he thinks about is $$$.

This is the 2nd good season for Lincecum and that's 2 better seasons than the Kansas City Royals have seen since the 80's.

If it makes you feel better taking a pot shot at the Royals be my guest. We can't all jump on the bandwagons anytime a team wins.....I just thought it was a bit high for a guy that does not have a VERY LONG track record.

Yes it's a little pricey, but if it is a nice sit down signature from the potential 08 NL Cy Young winner. There are definitely much worse players charging much higher prices.

Lincecum is a top 5 pitcher is baseball, so the price makes sense to me. That being said, I will be trying my luck IP and think the jersey number inscription thing is ridiculous.

You will get the same sig from Lincecum wiether its IP or a signing. They all look like crap. Plus, on 1 page of cards I got maybe 3 different variations of TL, some with his #, some without, some just TL some with extra scribbles, basically you will get the same sig IP or paid from him.
