Excuse ME. I have been here a hell of a lot longer than you have and have done a lot here. I guess your 3 months here totally make you a head honcho huh? Look....I'm not saying it's a bad thing getting 3 autos...if I saw someone signing and I had 3 cards...sure I'd try and get all 3 signed. My point is I'm not gonna freak out if he only signs 1.....and you're complaining that it's the end of the world that you don't get all 3, esp since you see him on numerous occasions. That's just my thought, and I appreciate you not calling me an "idiot" for it.

Oh, my bad Mr. Appleby's waiter. I am def not the "head honcho" but I for damn sure have more knowledge/experience than you. From my research, you troll around big league stadiums trying to get any Giant 1 of 1. You have no business commenting on minor league signing habits. Stay on the porch if you think getting "3 cards of an A Ball player" is too much.

I thought this site was all about helping people - either making friends, 50-50's, posting signing habits, transactions, trades, etc. It IS NOT trolling A-Ball players for private signings and then jacking it up for fellow members in hopes that you make a buck. The collateral damage is just substantial.

It is but private signings are part of the hobby now, good, bad or indifferent. I remember back in the day, you could get Mantle for $50 at a show and you would never see a guy who wasnt retired getting more than $20. But that was the past, you cant live in the past.

To be honest, I debated even listing my signing with Middlebrooks and Lars Anderson on here. I have enough baseballs paid from outside of this community that is why I put it together in the 1st place. BUT I listed it and a ton of members sent their stuff in. I am sure most of it is "set'rs" who would never see these kids.

i remember getting mantle for 25 dollars when i was 10 years old. i was just getting into cards and my grandma took me to get his auto at a show. she was more excited than i was. i have nothing against free, but i would rather pay for an auto since i am generally anal about the sigs looking good.

Joking or not, its post like these that infuriate a ton of people. This is the kind of stuff that puts a huge target on your back - and I for one think you should take your "business" to a different website altogether.

Agreed. I don't know why these have become so popular all of a sudden. I know I remember this exact same board collectively bashing tri-star for these same tactics.

Wow, I'm just a little pissed off right now. The Burgess ball that I purchased arrived today, and has like three or four freaking blotchy spots on it, I'll have to look again to make sure. It has like two orangish spots right next to each other, and two or three other black spots. I mean come on, is it so hard for you to actually look at the ball before you send it, and make sure that it's actually in good condition? Just pretty stupid if you ask me.

Send it back for an exchange. Know that all balls are not blemish free when they arrive to do these type of signings but balls that are that way off should have never been given to the player.

Yeah but that's kind of irresponsible to just put the ball in the package, without even taking it out of its box to at least see if it's clean.

It should have never been given to the player in the 1st place. After our signings, I add the holos and never look at the ball again. But, when they go out the door, I know there isnt a chance that the ball is messed up because I check the balls before the signing starts.
