Fanatics Authentic Chicago Show- March 20-22

Marcus Mariotta added for Saturday at same prices as Jameis. Butkus cancelled. Not sure if Mariotta is the "big announcement" they teased yesterday

they said NO as him being the big announcement. The big announcement will most likely be Peyton Manning.

He was $199 flats and $249 footballs with $79 inscriptions and $149 photo ops last time through before he started in Denver months later. Curious to see how close to that he'd still be

I'm still pissed I passed on him for $39 flat/mini his first show there in '98.

Now we have seen that $99 is the entry price on a young QB basically. We've seen that with Sam Bradford (ouch) and Cam/Stafford (eh). At least if these guys bust they still have been Heisman winners. Though not being to get them on a pro item kinda sucks if you don't collect college stuff. I imagine $39 for Peyton would haunt me too haha. I still remember Clayton Kershaw being $59 any item in Chicago and having zero line 5 years ago

I remember that about Kershaw too. He signed for about 10 min and was done. I also remember passing on Robinson Cano at his first show back in '07 ish. I decided to get Freddy Sanchez since he just won the batting title instead of Cano.

Definitely up from last time here where he was 179/249/99, 79 Inscr (if I recall). Disappointed there are no photo-ops ($149 last time) as I would've done that as a big fan
