First of all, Chapman and Rivera is a comparison to the extreme. Plus he's a Yankee. Are there any relievers outside of the Hall of Fame and Mo Rivera that would get that price? I don't think so. I'm not saying don't pay it, but I don't think there's any upside or any chance that this is a must buy since his price will skyrocket in the future

From what I read Chapman was pretty difficult to get toward the end of the season. I know from experience that any Reds stars, minus Jay Bruce, are next to impossible to get at Wrigley.

FYI for those of us not going, I have been getting some emails from Tom Orr about this signing. He's going to be doing some private signings with these guys at the show for cheaper pricing. For example, I just got an email saying he is going to be doing Frank Robinson for $60 on a ball, premiums $99, bats/jerseys $199, inscriptions $20.

To be fair, the whole Reds team has always been difficult at Wrigley, having genuine jerks like Votto and Volquez just doesn't help.

Upgraded to VIP today over the phone (was not easy for them to do in their new system) so I will let you guys know how the random autograph turns out. Quick follow up: is it always a flatt/ball ticket or is it an any item ticket for that player? Just curious in case because I am not a huge autograph photo guy. If it is a flat, will they let you pay the difference for an upgrade?
