These prices are nuts, but as we all know, a lot of people will pay them. Vince Coleman was one of my all time faves from the 80's, but there is no way in heck I am paying $40 for him. I like how Granderson is more than just about all of the HOFers in attendance over the three days.

Not disagreeing completely about the pricing, but Musial's prices are actually cheaper than another public show he is doing in St. Louis.
What I do not understand is the pricing of guys like Kaat and Koosman @ $39 each or whatever they are. If they marked them down to $19 or even $15, they would sell a ton more tickets. Can those guys demand that much to do a show? I think Koosman signs for $5 TTM and Kaat is $10, I think.

It's a typical Chicago show, overpriced in every way. But until people stop paying them these prices it won't change. If go to the show just watch how many people are getting autographs. It will be nuts. What gets me is guys like Banks, Sandberg, Montana have all been here, many times. How many times do you need those guys? And WTF is up with Mazerowski charging more than Eddie Murray? The guy barely made it into the hall, unlike Murray who has all the numbers. Whacky pricing structure if you ask me.
Agreed. I guess the autograph area/hobby is always welcoming new members. I walked around the actual show over the summer at Sportsfest and it appeared to be quite slow. There were several empty tables as well. All those guys keep coming back because they do shows and they sell. I am surprised they did not add Rose, even though he was just here.

It's called supply and demand (on a HOF level)-when is the last time you saw Maz do a show outside of Pittsburgh? What about Murray?
