Monte Irvin will be here too...

Monte Irvin, a 1973 inductee into the Baseball Hall of Fame, will sign autographs at the Iowa Cubs Fan Fest on Jan. 12 in Des Moines.

The 1952 National League All-Star will sign from 1-4 p.m. at Hy-Vee Hall.

Irvin autograph tickets are $25 each, while Fan Fest admission is $8.50 with children 13 and younger admitted free. Tickets may be purchased by calling the Iowa Cubs office at (515) 243-6111 or visiting iowacubs.com.

Also joining the lineup at the Iowa Cubs Fan Fest is Norwalk native Joel Hanrahan, who made his major-league debut with the Washington Nationals in 2007, posting a 5-3 record with a 6.00 ERA. Hanrahan joins Hall of Famers Mike Schmidt and Tony Gwynn.
