Should we keep Kusnick on the board?

Its not odd for me to do it because pricing has nothing to do with me. It's odd because Brantley knows there is no other way for anyone to get that signed. He will never sign that card in person. He is only doing it this way for collectors who need to finish the set and for charity.

I wasn't criticizing, all I said was thats why I asked. I wasn't sure. I am not a Brewers Fan and I am not doing the Bowman Set so it is not worth $20 to me, thats all.

AM, I'll be sending a Money Order out Monday for a 08 Bowman.

Alan has this happened yet I just found a card I need signed

I havent opened any of the packages yet. Will probably do that come Friday after I get the package ready to ship out.

Of course all of this is based on me getting PROjections on Wednesday.

Yeah, that point was fantastic and I am now a better person and understand the true value of 5 dollars for reading it, and truly hope one day I too can teach another person about the value of 5 dollars on an autograph message board.. In fact, where were you earlier today ??? I was vacillating earlier in the day on whether or not I should grab a Subway 5 dollar foot long for lunch.. When I decided to get it, I was glad I did since I was hungry, however, upon last bite I became a bit incredulous on my feelings for eating it .. Buyer's remorse perhaps ?? I have no idea..Considering the fact that 5 dollars for a sandwich might not be conducive for one's frugal budget, I'll think twice for lunch on Monday when I go back to work with my new found knowledge...

Look, if adults (and yes I earn my own money and don't live on my mom's couch ) flip out over paying 5 dollars for a guy they want an autograph from without a gun to their head, then maybe this isn't the hobby for them..

-Regards

I just got around to reading your post - I must have forgot about this topic.

Its not that 5 bucks is a tremendous amount of money - heck - I took a client to lunch today and our tab was over 100 bucks. My beef is that a player will only sign a certain card if you put money in his hand. Its no secret that I dont think paid signings are a good idea ( with a few minor exceptions - Frank Williams, Drew Henson UDSPTP). Players talk - word will spread - and the next thing you know - guys wont sign their Bowman or Just or whatever because they know some guys need them to finish a set and will pay for the graph. They get paid to be on the card and they will get paid to sign it for us. THEY WILL BE DOUBLE DIPPING, essentially.

Would it be ok with you if I continue in this hobby, without paying for autographs?

Are there really that many people out there doing sets that will actually pay $20 for an autograph??? Maybe I am wrong but I just don't see it...I can't see more than 15-20 TOTAL that may even think about paying that for an auto of a relative nobody (at least at this time) But I guess if 20 people did pay it then that is $400 more in the players pocket...
