March Chicago Sun-Times Show, March 11-13 2011

Just a thought, you could always send him a letter explaining you have the helmet and ask him if he would be willing to sign it TTM, this way you could use a secure way to ship it. Also, is walking onto someones porch and ringing their doorbell considered trespassing? I would never do it, but I can't see how it's illegal.

He's in Northbrook, and I remember reading his kids playing HS sports and hi showing up to support them, etc. That may be an idea. Or, get an extra ticket to Ravinia, and take him to a concert with you. Buy a few cold ones and get the helmet signed on the way home!

His kids are pretty much grown up and in college. And he doesn't spend a whole lot of time around here in the winter. He hates the cold and he can't golf up here. He's in Arizona or Florida in the winter I do beleive. But does live here in the summer. I would try the letter idea and see what he says.

LOL this whole debate is kind of funny. Unless its a gated house or no trespassing signs are visibly in a yard, you can't get in legal trouble for that otherwise i'd have the girl scouts who come to my door selling those fattening cookies and forcing me to buy some arrested lol. I'm not bold enough to go to someone's door and ask for an autograph and you probably would be placed on their stalker alert if they are really uncool but hey, whatever doesn't get you arrested only makes you a better grapher right lol??

Roberto Alomar has been confirmed, supposedly a bunch more tomorrow.

Need Alomar on HOF Bat and a SS Baseball. Pretty excited with that announcement today on Facebook

59, i think it will be higher, like 89-109 for small items. i hope its 10 bucks.

I needed jim Loscutoff (Celtics) on some pieces, hes not at public events much and is getting up there. I went to his house and rang the doorbell. Yeah, not knowing what to expect I was nervous, but sometimes if you need someone you gotta do what you gotta do, especially if you have no other way.

Anyway, he came out, offered me a seat on his patio furniture and proceeded to tell me stories for about an hour about the glory days of the 50s/60s, then signed my pieces. One of my better "IP" experiences for sure!

Alomar will be $79/99, I am guessing. Or $59 w/ Insc. being $20.
