This really is one of the dumbest things I have read on this site, sure everyone has different experiences with players in different cities, but based on my expierences with him here and in Milwaukee as well has seeing other people's results with the Reds, "personable, humble, fan-friendly" are probably the last things that come to my mind with Joey Votto, more like snobbish, cocky, and general jackass-ery. And Joey Votto is probably the only person who thinks there is any Cubs/Reds rivalry.

I will be there. Friday Night I am getting Steve Carlton and Bruce Sutter to add to my 20X24 HOF Cy Young Award Winner Print. I am also doing Heyward for Mulliganman. I will probably be getting others, but I will figure that out Friday night

What a Cluster-F Mazeroski, Aroldis Chapman, Denny McClain and Don Sutton all cancelled with the last two without notice. McClain may be rescheduled this weekend but I doubt it. I did hit Jim Brown for VIP and ran into Rob (SoBrave) so still a good night.

the place is a joke. it looks like they are having cash flow issues and i suspect that is the cause of the no shows, not a fact just opinion. they dont even have 8x10s at the merch booth they are printing them out as you order. that tells me cash flow issues but what do i know
i am staying at the hyatt. what a joke there is this group that thinks animals have human traits on here and they are holding their big convention "furfest" these kids are all wearting either tails or whole animal costumes. this place is literally over run by mascots. its totally freaking people out. i may have to go hunting before the weekends out

Yeah Pittgrad. My buddy and his dad thought they were hilarious. it is some sexual thing called Furries. It was on MTV True Life a while ago. Odd but whatever let em do what they want. I agree with NBrock that the place was a cluster ****. I am glad I did not spend money to start a 300Win/3000 K item. With all these guys cancelling the last few shows. WTF! It is complete amateur hour over there. That will not happen at the National, but much higher prices. It was good talking with Niel as well. Will probably bump into him again in McCook.

the psa line is a joke 7 or 8 players signing at once, one table leading to psa where they had to handwrite your information down, it took 45 minutes to get through during the 1-3pm range. why they cant just have someone with the signer doing the psa or have multiple stations set up blows my mind
reggie jackson was having all items marked with psa/dna marker at the table he was signing whether you wanted to get it done or not, and if you were getting it done you they were supposed to check for it at the table
evan longoria had his guy holograming everything with his holo. they were asking people with cards balls and multi-signed items if they wanted it, and all premiums were getting it whether you liked it or not.
looks like these guys are trying to help with fakes
biggest jerk of the show so far reggie jackson. i am not a reggie fan picking up a ball for a buddy, he had his own conversations with his guys while people waited at the table for their stuff back and infront of me pulled out a cellphone and sent text messages from a blackberry for 3-4 minutes without acknowleding me
nicest guy--ubaldo jimminez he actually stopped shook everyones hand thanked everyone for comming to see him and would offer for everyone an inscription and for anyone who wanted one but didnt pay for the inscription ticket his agent would scramble to stop him. nice to see a guy who doesnt see this as a chore and realizes hes getting these checks from these promoters becasue we are stupid enough to pay these stupid prices
